As Teddy Atlas repeatedly said, "the man on the street" can't understand why Pacquiao would turn down $40 million dollars over some blood tests.

Sounds fundamental right? Especially how Atlas worded it.

Why won't Pacquiao take the tests?

Why won't Pacquiao ride his tour bus or fly in style in a private jet from LA to Vegas when he fights and insists on the same convoy he has taken in years?

Why does Pacquiao kneel and pray in a corner after every win?

Why did Michael Jordan insist on wearing his old basketball shorts under his NBA uniform for all those years?

Why do all these sports figures have these routines and habits that make no sense that they religiously follow to avoid being jinxed?

Why do suicide bombers throw their lives away for what they think are religious acts of martyrdom?
